Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer/Construction Manager with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering coupled with proven project management abilities. They will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to clarify specifications, resolve issues, and ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance assessments to verify compliance with design plans, building codes, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective measures as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, contracts, progress reports, and budget updates.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, offering solutions to complex engineering challenges as they arise.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to promote collaboration and achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management, with a focus on infrastructure or building projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving project success.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.
