    Description


    As a Human Resources Specialist at Laiton Crafts, you will play a vital role in recruiting top talent, fostering a positive work environment, and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.

    We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about HR, adept at leveraging modern recruitment techniques, and capable of engaging with top-level Acquisition:


    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, utilizing diverse channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
    • Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
    • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.

    Onboarding and Orientation:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing welcome kits, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless integration.
    • Provide support and guidance to new employees, addressing any questions or concerns and assisting with paperwork completion.

    HR Administration and Compliance:

    • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations, using HRIS software.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations, and keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management.

    Employee Relations:

    • Act as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and career development opportunities.
    • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and confidential manner, in consultation with senior management and legal counsel if necessary.

    Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs within the organization and collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Organize workshops, seminars, and other learning activities to foster professional growth and career advancement.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional HR certification is a plus.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 35 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
    • Demonstrated success in sourcing and attracting top talent, particularly at the senior level.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and employees at all levels.
    • Proactive mindset with a creative approach to problemsolving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
