Title: Production Manager – Jewellery Company

Job Description:

We are looking for an excellent Production Manager with experience in jewellery manufacturing,

ability to overlook the production process and manage the manufacturing team along with being

extremely organized and do correct accountability for all stones. They will also be the point of

contact between the design and manufacturing teams. As a production manager, you'll oversee the

production process, coordinating all production activities and operations of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Plan and draw up a production schedule

· Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate

· Sound knowledge of jewellery production

· Knowledge of CAD and point out flaws in existing CAD files before production

· Coordinating with the manufacturing team, solving issues in product development and ensuring they adhere to the aesthetic and quality of production

· Performing QA/QC at various stages of production and approving final pieces

· Experience in working with precious gemstones and diamonds especially emeralds

· Knowledge of assorting gemstones, assessing quality and measuring them before they are sent for production

· Gemstone and diamond grading

· Organization and time-management skills and the ability to work on deadlines.

· Experience in jewellery production for international markets

· Highly experienced in the jewellery making processes

· Create documentation for job sheets before production

· Manage the entire production cycle

Requirements & Skills

· Proven work experience in a relevant role

· Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular) excel/word

· Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills

· Project management skills: Time management

· Attention to detail with stones and stone handling

· Organized and knowledge of international level manufacturing/production

Job Type: Full-time

Timings: Monday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 8 PM

Saturday – 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
