Job summary
SAP Basis Administrator responsible for system administration and operations. Key responsibilities include SAP installations, configurations, system refreshes, patching and performance tuning. Additionally the role includes user administration roles profiles transport management Backup recovery disaster recovery planning S/4 HANA Upgrades Migrations Execute S/4 HANA readiness checks simplification item checks SUM DMO migrations Support Brownfield Greenfield implementation approaches cutover planning Optimize downtime for upgrades ensure data consistency Integration Cloud Support Integrate SAP BASIS with SAP BTP services cloud infrastructure Support Fiori administration authentication hybrid landscapes Work with middleware SaaS solutions integration external systems Maintenance Support Documentation Execute system maintenance plans patch cycles periodic system checks Provide technical support troubleshooting Maintain documentation SOPs runbooks Skills Qualifications Often Required- SAP BASIS expertise strong S/4 HANA knowledge architecture migration tools
- Experience with SAP HANA DB cloud systems BTP integration
- Understanding of SUM DMO simplification checks readiness checks
- Familiar with Fiori SSO authentication cloud connectors ALM
