    Provide SQL Server database administration developments todeliver teams including on-going development, troubleshooting, performancetuning and upgrade management, help manage the day-to-day activities from asupport and maintenance perspective and ensure that the productionsenvironments running applications are stable.Develop, test and debug, and implement complex database components,software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, andcontrol of the current and future DB systems.

    1.Implement database technologybest suited to meet business application requirements and the technicalinfrastructure environment.

    2.Assist in formulation ofstandard and procedures relating to data base administration for Oracle and SQLServer.

    3.Implement processes to assurecomprehensive backups of database and a quick/efficient recovery method.

    4.Provide spirited positiveleadership in the implementation of systems projects.Challenge obsolete practices, questionaccepted truths, and eliminate non-value-added processes. Develop practicalsystems scope that enhances the business function.Control the project scope, resources, andquality within budget and schedule to meet objectives.

    5.Provide analysis, counsel, anddirection to management and personnel of operating units to analyze problemsand develop solutions, as well as assure efficient operation of existingsystems.Maintain an understanding ofbusiness processes and the implications of computer systems on theseprocesses.

    6.Prepare and conduct projectreview meetings and management presentations including general design review,project scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, systemcontrols, procedures, systems documentation, and system implementation plan.

    7.Develop high-level systemspecifications.Assist in developingsystem documentation.Advise on userprocedures.Assist in the preparation ofgeneral test plan.Coordinate systemtests.

    8.Participate in educationalprograms and professional societies involving supervisory skills, computingtechnology and systems methodologies.Seek ways to expand business knowledge.

    9.Conduct educational programsinvolving company personnel relating to computing technology and specificprojects.

    10.Perform other related duties asassigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from any ITrelated field
  • 5+ years IT experience in DatabaseDevelopment (Must Have)
  • Working knowledge with SQLscripting skills (Must Have)
  • Working knowledge creating andoptimizing database queries, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggersand events (Must Have)
  • Working knowledge with databaseplanning and design, set-up, maintenance, performance tuning and partitioning(Preferred)
  • Experience with working onIndustrial IoT projects (Preferred)
  • Understanding of manufacturingprocesses (Preferred)
