    Description

    Job Purpose :-

    The position holder is responsible to on-board strategic vendor partners for particular part category within the capex targets received from product line with a visibility of achieving cost efficiencies by deploying various cost reduction levers. Responsible for purchasing of CAPEX and other indirect (non BOM) items like maintenance, consumables, services etc. for Pack plants.

    Roles & Responsibilities :-

    • Define procurement short and long term strategy based on business needs and markets changes, Monitor & improve existing prices and service levels.
    • Build strong relationships with the stakeholders to ensure an appropriate strategy is developed.
    • Lead multifunctional teams and projects to achieve contracts, orders or agreements that are aligned with the strategy and hence deliver appropriate savings agreed with stakeholders.
    • Lead or facilitate the supplier selection, Request for Proposal (RFP) projects and negotiation process to deliver agreements that include excellent long-term pricing models, measurable service level/performance criteria, effective remedies for non-performance, mechanisms for monitoring performance/remedies.
    • Analyze category or service market trends for assigned material/service purchases and communicate opportunities to management, recommending action plans based on market trends and analysis.
    • Prepare requests for proposals (RFP's) for assigned materials/ services.
    • Perform proposal analysis, including price analyses, "Should Cost" modelling, benchmarking.
    • Develop cost targets for negotiations, negotiation strategy, and develop and negotiate service/ supply agreements.
    • Develops strategic supplier relationships to leverage suppliers that support and drive business strategies.
    • Resolves problems effectively by identifying and analyzing key information from multiple sources.
    • Manage team roles, ensuring effective staffing and tasking. Manage a dynamic team that carry have much of capacity, innovation and dedication.
    • Participate in the annual budget preparation update any prices & report deviations. Work closely with central team on global suppliers agreements, contracts and initiatives.
    • Issue monthly a set of reports and KPI's that reflect the business actual performance.
    • Follow up routinely as to the accuracy, direction, and completion of objectives to ensure process efficiency and keep open the lines of communication with all concerned stockholders
