Job description
Job Description / Responsibilities -
- Developing and maintaining existing Java/J2EE applications under guidance of existing
senior staff
- Designing and developing high-volume applications for critical systems and delivering
high-availability and performance.
- Contributing in all phases of the software development life-cycle.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Conducting software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
- Identifying and rectifying production and non-production application issues.
- Maintaining precise and regular documentation of the additions and updates to the
code-base
Essential Qualification & Experience -

B.Tech / B.E. /MSc.[ in IT/Computer Science] / MCA or equivalent degree with relevant
experience of one year after the qualifying degree.
OR
Bachelor's degree (other than B.Tech. / B.E.) in IT/Computer Science with relevant experience
of Two years after the qualifying degree.
Desired Experience / Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in:
- Java/J2EE with Spring Boot, including development of RESTful APIs
- ReactJS, including Hooks, state management, and API integration
- SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with version control using Git and standard branching/merge practices
- Understanding of SDLC and process documentation (requirements, design,
development, testing, release)
- Knowledge of System Testing planning and execution across Unit Testing, Integration
Testing, and UAT support
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and adhere to established coding standards and
best practices
- Monitoring/logging/APM tools
- Secure coding practices (OWASP)
- AI tools for all cycles of development like Copilot
- CI/CD exposure; Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with High-volume/high-availability systems; performance tuning basics
- Agile development methodology (Scrum/Kanban; sprint planning, reviews, retros)
- Cloud familiarity
- Microservices and Spring Security (OAuth/JWT)
