Key Responsibilities
1. Meeting with clients to discuss their technical and engineering needs.
2. Conducting site visits and researching technical processes.
3. Conducting external market research.
4. Providing expert advice on available solutions and technical changes.
5. Project managing the implementation of technical solutions.
6. Troubleshooting engineering and technical faults.
7. Evaluating the functionality of redesigned processes.
8. Maintaining strong client relationships.
9. Experience on offshore geotechnical projects (3-4yrs).
10. Conducing after-service site visits.
11. Development of business with all round view and actions plans through intensive and extensive liaison, discussion, negotiation and electronic presentation to various prospective clients.
12. Attending negotiation meetings with client to get new business.
13. Manage assigned project managers and support staff.
14. Manage resources, budget and staff assigned to the onshore business line and monitor contribution against set performance objectives / targets.
15. Making the budget in line with the total cost considered at the time of proposal/tendering, negotiation, and discussion with clients on renewing onshore Geotechnical Projects.
16. Ensure that all client relationships are maintained and kept at the expected high levels
17. Maintain open communication across Business Line Management over business and market trends; present (when requested) a business case of solutions for change.
18. Help Project Managers in the planning for execution.
19. Liaison with operation department for the smooth execution of the project
20. Close communication with lab/Eng. department for the timely submission of test
21. Engage and work with RSLMs to win, execute and deliver project of the complexity>2 and drive operational excellence improvement and digital transformation of the BL locally.
22. Any other work assigned by company from time to time, based on competency.
