    Company Description: House to Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our home decor store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for home decor, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
    • Monitor sales performance and take proactive measures to maximise profitability.
    • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth

    Staff Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
    • Set performance targets, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback to employees.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and productivity.

    Inventory Management:

    • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimise shrinkage.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and introduce new products.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.

    Customer Service:

    • Ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.

    Visual Merchandising:

    • Oversee the visual presentation of merchandise to maximise sales potential.
    • Create visually appealing displays that showcase products effectively.
    • Ensure the store layout and signage are conducive to a positive shopping experience.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Enforce store policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
    • Monitor and control expenses to optimise profitability.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the home decor or interior design industry.
    • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
    • Sound knowledge of inventory management principles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
