    Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Purchase

    We are seeking a highly experienced professional for the role of Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Purchase. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in the autoparts industry.

    The successful candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience and be proficient in managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and negotiating prices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Raising purchase indents, purchase requests, and purchase orders on time.
    • Receiving order confirmations, maintaining procurement logs, and updating records.
    • Scheduling and coordinating with suppliers for ordered items, dispatch planning, and receiving goods before the required date as per production plans.
    • Managing inventory to consider supply lead times for super long and long lead items, avoiding shortages.
    • Updating agreed and approved prices to amend orders and sharing them with suppliers.
    • Providing status updates on shortages and expected arrivals.
    • Negotiating with suppliers for prices, terms and conditions, payment terms, supply lead times, and inventory management (VMI).
    • Coordinating with engineering for new part development support and following up to receive parts to complete prototypes.
    • FOLLOWING UP WITH FREIGHT FORWARDERS AND LOGISTICS SERVICE PROVIDERS TO SPEED UP SHIPMENT PICK-UPS.
    • Finding alternate sources for critical items to have multiple sources.
