Job Overview:

As a Public Relations and Fundraising Intern at Suvidha Foundation - Suvidha Mahila Mandal, your primary responsibility will be to connect with individuals and groups to create awareness about our organization's initiatives, particularly the 80G certificate, and raise funds for Girl Child Education. You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to empower women and promote education for girls across India.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Relations:

Represent the organization professionally and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including donors, supporters, and community members.

Communicate our organization's mission, values, and achievements effectively to various audiences through verbal and written communication channels.

Develop and distribute compelling content such as press releases, newsletters, and social media updates to promote our programs and events.

Assist in organizing and attending public events, workshops, and conferences to increase brand visibility and engage with potential donors.

Fundraising:

Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and corporate partners through various outreach strategies, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.

Explain the benefits and impact of obtaining an 80G certificate to potential donors, highlighting the tax benefits they can receive by contributing to our cause.

Develop and implement creative fundraising campaigns and initiatives to encourage individuals and organizations to support Girl Child Education.

Collaborate with the fundraising team to maintain donor databases, track contributions, and send acknowledgment letters to donors.

Awareness and Marketing:

Utilize social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, to raise awareness about our organization's initiatives and engage with supporters.

Assist in creating engaging and informative content for social media posts, blogs, and website updates.

Monitor and analyze the impact of social media campaigns and provide recommendations for improving outreach efforts.

Collaborate with the communications team to develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and videos to support fundraising and awareness activities.

Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to the Public Relations and Fundraising departments, including managing emails, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.

Assist in coordinating fundraising events, including logistics, venue arrangements, and participant registration.

Conduct research on potential funding sources, grants, and partnerships to expand our fundraising opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Currently pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.

Proficiency in using social media platforms for promotional purposes.

Basic knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
