    About the Opportunity

    The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing day to day operations related to the company's account payables process, as well as preparing ledger reconciliations and entries.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Create purchase orders and new vendors for multiple agencies.
    • Train Marketing Team on purchase order creation.
    • Assist with any AP related questions from internal and external teams.
    • Assist team with month-end duties, including preparing journal entries.
    • Prepare Blackline reconciliations and tasks as assigned.
    • Check and assess all accounting records for accuracy.
    • Assist with special projects and audits as needed.
    • Maintain good rapport with staff, vendors, external auditors and regulators.
    • Adhere to best practices, standards and procedures in all accounting functions and activities.
    Qualifications
    • Graduate in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent experience)
    • 4+ years experience.
    • Must be strong team player, flexible, and willing to work overtime when required.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a passion for accuracy, both written and verbal.
    • Proven ability to learn quickly and succeed in a fast-pace environment.
    • Must be comfortable interfacing with employees outside of the office at other locations/countries, via phone, email, web meetings to gain understanding to complete monthly tasks.
    • Able to work under tight deadlines.
    • Able to display initiative & take ownership of problems
