Overview:

TheElectrical Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuringthe safe and efficient operation of electrical systems andequipment within the organization. They are responsible forconducting regular maintenance diagnosing and repairing electricalfaults and implementing preventive measures to minimize downtimeand ensure compliance with safetyregulations.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Conducting routineinspections and maintenance of electrical systems andequipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electricalfaults and breakdowns
• Installing andcommissioning new electrical systems
• Developingand implementing preventive maintenanceprocedures
• Collaborating with other engineersand technicians on maintenance tasks
• Ensuringcompliance with electrical safety standards andregulations
• Providing technical support andtroubleshooting assistance
• Managing spare partsinventory and procurement
• Analyzing equipmentperformance and recommendingimprovements
• Training and mentoring juniormaintenance staff
• Preparing maintenance reportsand documentation
• Participating in emergencyresponse and recoveryefforts.

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelorsdegree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relatedfield
• Proven experience in electricalmaintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge ofelectrical systems and components
• Carrying outliaising work with govt authorities like TSSPDCL & chief ofElectrical Inspectorate in coordination withadministration.
• Maintaining of electricalequipment including Substation earthing system etc.
• Maintain ISO/ TPM document with respect toutility department
