    About the Position:

    We are seeking a Technical Proposal Writer with Graphic Design Skills to join our team at CloudThrottle. This specialized role focuses on creating technical proposals for US Federal government contracts. The ideal candidate will craft detailed and clear documentation that meets stringent federal requirements, integrating visual designs that enhance the proposals' effectiveness. Your contributions will be crucial in helping us navigate the complexities of government contracting, ensuring our solutions are both comprehensible and compelling to our federal clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain precise technical documentation for US Federal government contracts, including user manuals, installation guides, and project proposals.
    • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requisite information for documentation specifically tailored to RFPs and RFIs.
    • Ensure all technical documents comply with US Federal government standards and regulations.
    • Assist in preparing detailed responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring alignment with government solicitations.
    • Design and integrate clear, informative graphics and visual aids into proposals to enhance readability and impact.
    • Edit and standardize technical literature prepared by other staff members.
    • Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking to meet tight federal deadlines.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in technical writing, specifically with US Federal government contracts, and a portfolio that includes successful proposals.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills, and a keen eye for detail.
    • Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise text.
    • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Graphic Design tools.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
