Role Title: RPA UiPath Platform Engineer

Position Summary:

The RPA Platform Engineer will be an integral part of the RPA delivery team of our Office of Intelligent Automation (OIA) at EVERNORTH. The RPA Platform Engineer will be responsible of supporting the strategy and frameworks of the OIA and set up, manage and maintain the RPA platforms that address EVERNORTH needs.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness for the UiPath Platform whether on premise, or in the cloud
• Define and implement best practices for the CI/CD processes
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness for the CI/CD pipelines
• Help design the To-Be state of automations, and assist in the creation of the Solution Design Document (SDD)
• Help set up UiPath environments and communicate the technical infrastructure requirements to deploy automation solutions
• Support UAT and deployments of automations to production and between environments.
• Review SDDs from vendors contracted by EVERNORTH and provide guidance and oversight.
• Provide technical guidance to developers.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience coding in one or more system level programming languages and a willingness to learn new ones
• 2+ years supporting RPA platforms

Experience Desired:

• Cloud ecosystems experience
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns is a plus
• Having experience with the UiPath platform is a must, having experience with Pega OpenSpan, or Blueprism, platform is a plus
• Experience with staging and deploying automation solutions into test and production environments and providing post-production support.
• Experience in infrastructure-related technology is preferred, i.e., application server infrastructure, cloud platforms, credential management, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD is a must
• Experience with Agile Software Development Lifecycle
• Proven experience with design principles and modular programming techniques

Education and Training Required:

• A Bachelors or M.S. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or similar majors.
• UiPath Infrastructure Engineer Certification or Diploma is a must

Primary Skills:

(Powershell, C# C, C++, Python, Rust etc.)

Additional Skills:

Excellent Communication skills l Intelligence, or a related field.
