    Our Portfolio is a Payments as a Service (PaaS) API platform for digital businesses that need a faster, easier, and more reliable way to move money. We're in a digital age where businesses need quicker, more agile, and flexible payments than traditional banking services can provide. Companies are under mounting pressure to control their operational costs, comply with regulations, and handle complex supplier, customer, and employment payment arrangements. In this role, you will work in a cross-functional team who are asked to solve a problem, rather than be handed a task to do.     Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, analyse, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
    • Coordinate with other teams at sub-system and system level to identify software needs and solutions
    • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
    • Develop and execute test procedures for software
    • Proactively identify issues, bottlenecks, gaps, or other areas of concerns or opportunities and work to either directly affect change, or advocate for that change
    • Work in an agile environment - Scrum or Kanban
    • Document best practices, guides, systems design, reference architectures and implementations
    • Participate in design and code reviews
    • Contribute to the evolution of our architecture to make it more flexible and easier to use

    Must Have

    • Total experience of 5+Year and Expert in Java (or similar object-oriented languages willing to learn Java)
    • Expert in OOP and design patterns.
    • Expert in REST API design.
    • Experience testing across different levels of applications and advocate for best practices.
    • Open-source technologies, such as Spring and Hibernate.
