Job Description:

Business Process Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand supply chain and demand planning processes.
• Analyze and document business requirements related to planning and optimization.

SAP APO Configuration:

• Configure and customize SAP APO modules to meet business requirements.
• Implement settings for demand planning, supply network planning, production planning, and detailed scheduling.

Master Data Management:

• Manage and maintain master data related to products, locations, and resources within SAP APO.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency for effective planning.

Demand Planning:

• Implement and optimize demand planning processes using SAP APO Demand Planning.
• Collaborate with business users to forecast demand and improve accuracy.

Supply Network Planning:

• Configure and execute supply network planning processes in SAP APO.
• Optimize distribution networks to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.

Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling:

• Configure production planning and detailed scheduling functions in SAP APO.
• Ensure alignment between production plans and demand forecasts.

Integration with SAP ECC:

• Integrate SAP APO with SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) for seamless data flow and consistency.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for any required customizations or enhancements.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning and optimization.
• Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into supply chain performance.

User Training:

• Conduct user training sessions to educate stakeholders on SAP APO functionality and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to end-users.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in SAP APO.
• Stay informed about SAP APO updates and new features.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP APO Functional Consultant, including implementation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP APO modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, and Detailed Scheduling.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Proficient in SAP ECC integration with SAP APO.
• Experience with master data management within SAP APO.
• Ability to configure and customize SAP APO settings to meet business requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
