    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic Financial Expert to join our team. As a Financial Expert, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and expertise in the planning, management, and implementation of port development projects.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop financial models and investment strategies for port development projects, considering factors such as project viability, funding sources, and risk management.
    2. Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to evaluate the economic viability of port projects and investment opportunities.
    3. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections to support decision-making and project planning.
    4. Identify financing options, including public funding, private investment, and public-private partnerships (PPPs), and recommend optimal financing structures.
    5. Lead the preparation of financing proposals, investment memoranda, and business plans to attract funding for port projects.
    6. Negotiate financing agreements, including loan agreements, equity investments, and concession agreements, with lenders, investors, and partners.
    7. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
    8. Manage financial risks associated with port projects, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and market risk, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    9. Provide financial advice and guidance to project teams on financial matters related to port development and management.
    10. Stay updated on developments in financial markets, investment trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to port development projects.

    Qualifications:

    • CA/CMA/Post Graduate degree in finance or economics.
    • M.Phil/Ph.D/Post-Doctoral in the same field is preferable.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in tourism finance, project management, resource mobilization, and public-private partnerships.
    • Strong financial analysis skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and under tight deadlines.
    • Commitment to financial integrity, transparency, and accountability.
