- NPD Process: You'll manage the entire New Product Development (NPD) process.
- Technical Documentation: Creating clear and detailed technical documentation for all new products is essential, and you'll be the expert in making it happen.
- Collaboration: Liaising with our manufacturing team is key to ensuring new products are produced according to specification and meet manufacturing standards
- Compliance management: Identify which products require compliance and then manage compliance certificates of any building codes (AS, NZS) through meticulous specification creation. You would work with Product manager and team to deliver this.
- Research Skills: A keen understanding of market trends and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovative custom projects.
- Design Savvy: The ability to translate customer needs and specifications into creative and functional product designs.
- NPD Process Champion: Experience managing the entire NPD process, from ideation to launch, ensuring smooth collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Technical Communication Pro: Strong written and verbal skills to create clear and concise technical documentation for new products.
- Manufacturing Liaison: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively bridge the gap between NPD and manufacturing teams.

- Diploma Engineering graduate minimum in Mechanical engineering
- Proven experience 4+ years in New product development or project management
- Experience with Design Software: Familiarity with design software programs relevant to technical documentation is a plus.
- Product Prototyping Expertise: Prior experience in prototyping new products is a valuable asset.
- Global Mindset: Understanding of international markets and regulations can be a significant advantage.`
