Description

• 3-5 years of experience in handling Jira, Confluence Administration role for both SME and Enterprise user community. This is a client interfacing role.
  
• Should have extensive knowledge in implementing complex solutions using Atlassian toolset (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Bitbucket) right from Design-until-Delivery.
  
• Hands-on-Experience in Installation, Customization, Scaling-Performance Tuning and scheduling back-ups. Maintain project EOLs effectively.
  
• Should have experience in designing POC's, Optimize Tool Governance, maintenance activities for Atlassian Toolset.
  
• Experience in planning and executing upgrades and migrations.
  

• 3+ years of proven experience for Atlassian Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline
  
• Strong hands on-experience working as Administrator for Atlassian Data center or Cloud versions of Jira, JSM and Confluence.
  
• Extensive hands-on experience in setting up complex JIRA projects, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions schemes, setting up complex workflows with advanced workflow functions.
  
• Configuration of Customer Portal, Customer Permissions, Request Types and Queues, automations for JIRA Service Management.
  
• Creation of filters, notifications, dashboards. Customization of Agile boards as per Business Requirements.
  
• Knowledge or working experience with Apache, Tomcat, NGINX and any other Java application servers
  
• Working knowledge and working experience of RedHat / CentOS
  
• Integrating Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket with user management tool (Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP)
  
• Should have hands-on with plug-in analysis, identifying gaps between On-Prem and Cloud plug-ins, and suggesting potential solutions for the problems/gaps identified.
  
• Demonstrated technical competence with database skills, with the expertise to write and update SQL queries with ease.
  

Requirements

• Manage and administrating Atlassian tools (Jira, JSM, Confluence and Bitbucket).
  
• New Project creation will include Working with clients to define requirements and feasibility of design
  
• Creating and maintaining new projects, custom workflows, fields, automation, filters, screens, permission schemes, notifications, dashboards, filter subscriptions.
  
• Evaluate, Install, upgrade, validate & patch Atlassian toolset.
  
• Evaluate, install, and maintain plugins
  
• Generate Investigation reports prior to migration by conducting thorough analysis of both application and system level impacts, database statistics, integration impacts.
  
• Migrate existing On-prem JIRA and Confluence server instances to Atlassian Cloud or On-prem/Public cloud Datacenters.
  
• Work as Subject Management Expert (SME) to provide recommendations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system security updates.
  
• Participating in user acceptance testing and facilitate project cleanup and Go Live cutover.
  
• Providing training to end users.
  
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for a given module/task, and being able to justify it.
  
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during requirement/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
  
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested designs/technologies meet the requirements.
  
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish including planning, designing, testing, deploying and documenting
