The initiative aims to bridge the gap betweenHealth s inhospital offering and patient s everyday healthcareneeds and provide patients access to a continuum of care tailoredto their own specific healthcare needs.
Inthis role the Pharmacist will Develop review and evaluate clinicalguidelines and Drug Utilization Reviews provide consultationsdevelops programs and prepares articles.
KeyResponsibilities:

• Assessthe identity strength and purity of medications.
• Review prescriptionsto assure accuracy ascertain the needed ingredients and evaluatetheir suitability.
• Provide informationand advice regarding drug interactions side effects dosage andproper medication storage.
• Analyze prescribingtrends to monitor patient compliance and prevent excessive usage orharmful interactions.
• Order and purchasepharmaceutical supplies medical supplies and drugs maintainingstock and storing and handling it properly.
• Maintain records suchas pharmacy files patient profiles charge system files
• inventories controlrecords for radioactive nuclei and registries of poisons narcoticsand controlled drugs.
• Advise customers onthe selection of medication brands medical equipment and healthcaresupplies.
• Collaboratewith other healthcare professionals to plan monitor review andevaluate the quality and effectiveness of drugs and drug regimensproviding advice on drug applications andcharacteristics.
• Compound anddispense medications as prescribed by doctors.
• Offer healthpromotion and prevention activities for example training people touse devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors.
• Plan implement andmaintain procedures for mixing packaging and labelingpharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements toensure quality security and proper disposal.

Whatis the profile of the person who will be successful in this role

• Proficiencyin verbal communication English and Kannada/Hindi. Any locallanguage proficiency is an added advantage.
• Qualification:BPharma MPharma or Pharma D.
• Experience 0 to 2Years.
• Registeredwith Karnataka Pharmacy Council and ready to submit the OriginalRegistration (KPC Certificate).
• Able to workaccurately and with minimal supervision.
• Good organizationaland time management skills.
• Ability to comprehendwritten instructions given by the Doctors and the other relateddepartmental personnel.
• Ability to plan& organize one s work schedule effectively.
• Speaking andlistening are essential requirements to understand and carry outthe instructions given by the supervisors and other relateddepartmental personnel.
