JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties &Responsibilities:
Design implement andmaintain Snowflake cloud data warehouse solutions that meetinternal project requirements
MonitorSnowflake performance and tune for optimal storage & processingutilization
Provides technical andconsultative support to partnering teams
Administer and maintain Snowflake users and rolepermissions
Develop solutions to remediateSecurity and Regulatory requirements
Identify automation opportunities for internal processes andprocedures
Provide operational support forsystem access and availability
Author andmaintain internal documentation
Stayuptodate on the latest Snowflake features and bestpractices
BasicQualifications:
2 years of experience withSnowflake
2 years of experience in databaseadministration
Bachelors degree:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Snowflake cloud data platform including thecreation of create tables views and tasks. new databases new schemaand data sharing
Experience troubleshootingauthentication and access related issues
Experience with SQL Programing PL/SQL Python and StoredProcedures
Experience implementing user androle privileges using RBAC model
Strongunderstanding of Snowflake architecture administration andperformance optimization
Understanding ofSnowflake Internals and integration of Snowflake with other dataprocessing and reporting technologies
Knowledge of Snowflake security features including access controlauthentication authorization encryption masking secured viewsetc.
Knowledge of Data Warehouses sizing ETLarchitecture and best practices
Strongtroubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Strong data analytical skills
Ability towork in a fastpaced environment handle multiple priorities andeffectively prioritize them
Experienceworking in a consumercentric company partnering with teams oftechnical professionals in a crossfunctional environment
Strong interpersonal and written communicationskills
Experience with federatedauthentication SSO SAML oAuth MFA
Experiencewith ETL/transformational data tools
Experience with ServiceNow
Requiredcertification : Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Administrator
Experience in Financial Services or another regulatedindustry
Bachelors degree in ComputerScience Engineering or a related field
