Note: Position is 100% On-Site, Work from Office 5 days a week. Fixed 2nd shift 01:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST.

Job Description

Your Role

• Optimize and maintain legacy systems in Microsoft SQL Server (Azure and AWS RDS)
• Implement differing approaches to data management & administration in AWS and Azure
• Partner with platform teams to construct databases in AWS and Azure
• Develop plans to migrate legacy on-premises databases into AWS data stores
• Engineer various database services across multiple AWS and Azure
• Be THE escalation point for solving database usage issues and malfunction

Required:

• Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a SQL Developer\ Engineer or Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience developing database applications in SQL-Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures, Complex SQL
• SQL Query tuning using different tools. Clear understanding of query plan management
• Solid understanding of database development and querying.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation and transformation
• Excellent detail-oriented problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Strong analytical mindset and a passion for working with data.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, including but not limited to Excel and Tableau.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and oral communications skills with demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities in challenging environments and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
