Job Description

LBC is seeking a sincere and responsible Procurement Executive with 2-3 years of experience in raw material inventory management and vendor management.

This position is open in the firm's Pune (Maharashtra) head office and will report to a senior manager.

As a Procurement Executive, your role will entail –

• Updating systems for stock replenishment and raising POs to fill the gap of Demand V/s Supply of raw material for smooth inventory management
• Collaborating with the production department of the firm and forecast the firm's dynamic raw-material requirements on a continuous basis
• Vendor Negotiation and Vendor Management - Coordinating with vendors for order status, dispatches and inwards
• Purchase Order Management - Create new purchase order as per specification and booked orders
• Maintaining a high standard of quality control for all raw materials being procured
• Preparing vendor performance reports in ERP/MS Excel
• Preparing system reports in ERP/MS Excel
• Logistic Operations knowledge is a plus point
• Having the willingness and ability to travel to either to production sites or to vendor's offices if the need arises, is a must
• Adhering to a high ethical standard, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws

To thrive in this role, you will need to have –

• A Graduate Degree in Commerce, an MBA would be preferred
• Education with a focus on Operations or Supply Chain Management would be preferred
• 2 to 3 yrs. experience in Supply chain operations, purchase function or warehouse management will be preferred
• Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills are necessary for this role
• Strong command over English and Hindi languages is needed
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills are a must, particularly MS Excel is necessary for this role
• Previous experience in ERP software preferred
