Validation Engineer - Bengaluru, India - UST
Description
You will be part of a team engaged in the validation of BIOS/FW for Server/ client PC products. You will be working in a lab located in a UST location. This is 100% onsite position.Responsibilities
:
Your job responsibilities include but not limited toUnderstand the FW features and review the test cases to validate themExecution of test cases, provide the test results and report defectsPrepare test systems (client & servers) by assembling the required hardware, flashing FW and installing OSPerform triaging of issues and root causePerform bug reproduction and fix verification activitiesWork closely with Customer team in achieving the deliverablesPublish daily and weekly status reports
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Electronics engineering or related field of studyExperience in validation of BIOS/FW/platform of Server/Client with x86 architectureGood Knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a PC Client/server systemExperience using pre-silicon simulation platformsAbility to understand BIOS/FW/product features and execute the test casesAbility to assemble client computer systemAbility to understand, articulate and isolate the issues observed during test executionGood communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teamsMust be working at UST location, there is no option for remote or Hybrid work.
