    scriptingInitial focus will:
    Migrating current DevOps; Automation & Back testing and extension of current core library of frameworks, ETF Auto Trade, E-Trading onboarding, Ref-Data replacement (ION platform related)

    Library Extensions:
    Connecting to other things, augmenting, and testing them (good for the juniors)Adapters need writing.
    Core trading system is built around Java.
    System uses React on the front end but Java on the back end. However, work will be only on backed Java core part.
    Future need might include data management people but that is further down the road.

    Key Responsibilities :
    Web Frameworks/Technologies – create dynamic web content using tools like SpringApplication Containers – knowledge of application programs (e.g. JBoss, Jetty); use of Kubernetes to automate operational tasksUnit Testing (e.g. Cucumber) – writing automated testsJava EE Components (e.g.

    Servlets, Java Beans, JavaServer Pages APIs)DevOps – solid understanding of CI/CD & Jenkins processes; tools like Docker, Chef, Kubernetes, Maven & JenkinsWorking knowledge of SOLID Principles – (s)ingle responsibility; (o)pen-closed; (L)iskov substitution; (i)ntegration segregation, (d)ependency inversionBig Data (later) – understanding of big data tech aid to analyze and extract data (e.g.

    Hadoop or Spark)

    Must-Have Skills :
    Enhancement and replacement of existing

    core Java componentsRewriting existing legacy technologies into modern technologies

    Spring Boot, Kubernetes.

    Deep understanding of

    Java API.Migration of existing delivery pipelines into automatic CICD process. S ome knowledge of CICD/Jenkins

    and DevOps is good to have.
    Migration of TeamCity to Bamboo and SVN-a to Git.
    Migration to AWS.
