Job Description:

Wireless Network Specialist is responsible for designing Cabin Avionics Connectivity products that use Linux as the base platform and use industrial wireless network components e.g controller, routers, access points within the Cabin avionics systems and sub-subsystem on-board an aircraft.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Support in designing, coding , testing, deploying and maintaining software an configuration for wireless network

Assist Customer Support and for in service investigations for wireless services (based on CISCO Wireless access points)

Improve wireless performance of the Airbus IOT and Wireless components (good knowledge in CISCO Wireless devices)

integrating and testing of Linux-based software (COTS) components in Yocto build environment (i.e. integrate a CISCO wireless controller)

Developing software parts in high level programming languages like Python and RUST

Support creation of software lifecycle documentation according to aviation rules and regulations

Qualification:
B.E /M.Tech /M.E. in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Information & Communication systems or Instrumentation Engineering or similar discipline

Experience:
Preferably - 5 years preferably in wireless network, automotive, medical or industrial domains.

Required Technical Skill:
Experience in embedded software development and software integration, using common programming and scripting languages (Java, Go, Python) is desired.

Extensive experience with Linux, Network, Protocols and Virtualisation

Strong knowledge of wireless protocols, wireless network features and configuration (preferred for CISCO WAPs and controller)

Experience with IOT networking and security

Experience with Agile and DevOps development practices and tools (e.g Jira, Github, Jenkins)

Knowledge of DO 178B or DO 178C will be added advantage

Experience with agile and DevOps development practices and tools (CI/CD)

Soft skillsStrong communication skills to build effective relationships with various stakeholders in a

multicultural environment.
Ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and

departmental contribution. Commitment to continuous learning.
Good verbal & written English skills are a must.
