Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for assigned operating theatre lists, particularly cardiac and high-risk cases.
• Manage critically ill patients in ICU and HDU in coordination with the Director of Intensive Care.
• Participate in Intensive Care Medicine duty rosters and emergency on-call schedules.
• Deliver consultative services across departments including Medicine and Surgery.
• Conduct ward rounds, manage outpatient clinics, and support operative surgical lists as required.
• Provide expertise in Critical Care Medicine including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience in ECLS and heart/lung transplant cases is desirable.
• Organize and conduct training sessions in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for medical and nursing staff.
• Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs and medical conferences.
• Engage in clinical research, audits, and departmental quality initiatives.
• Liaise with academic and research departments for collaborative studies and advancements.
• Contribute to administrative functions of the Intensive Care and Anesthesia departments.
• Stay updated with advancements in anesthesia techniques, critical care technology, and evidence-based practices.
