GCP Devops engineer with Elastic Search
Description: We seek a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with solid expertise in Elastic Search to support us in the DevOps maturity process. The candidate will design, implement, and maintain the Elastic Search platform and various DevOps processes to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of APIs in Mulesoft. The candidate will also work closely with our IT operations team to ensure seamless integration with Elastic Search and enhance the overall system performance.
Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain deployment pipelines for MuleSoft applications and APIs using BitBucket, GCP, and MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.
● Work closely with development teams to ensure code is appropriately tested, packaged, and deployed to various environments, including production.
● Automate testing and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of errors.
● Monitor the performance of MuleSoft applications and APIs in production, and implement proactive measures to optimize their performance.
● Troubleshoot issues related to application deployment, connectivity, and security.
● Maintain and enhance the infrastructure and tools used in the DevSecOps process, such as servers, monitoring tools, and automation scripts.
● Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and other team activities to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
● Continuously evaluate and improve the DevSecOps process to enhance the overall quality of software delivery. Required
Required Qualifications :
● At least 4+ years of experience in a GCP DevOps role.
● Active Certification from Elastic Search
● At least 2+ years of experience with supporting API DevOps experience, with MuleSoft, APIGEE, or Workato.
● At least 3+ years of experience in Elastic Search (ELK Stack)
● Experience with continuous integration and delivery, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
● Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of Mulesoft applications
● Collaborate with the IT operations team to enhance the Elastic Search infrastructure and ensure proper integration with the Mulesoft platform.
● Implement security and functional testing into the CICD process
● Mature the platform towards DevSecOps for APIs
● Should have strong expertise on the GCP and leveraging the GCP developer tool sets
Technical Stack :
● The completed CICD process is implemented using the GCP tool set (Cloudbuild, codedeploy, artifactory repository, secret manager, Google Pub/Sub, and GCS)
● ReadyAPI for functional and security testing
● Terraform for infrastructure automation
● Atlassian stack for the repository and other operations
