    Job Description

    Job Responsibilities:

    Lead the design and analysis of wet utility and drainage systems for road and underground projects, including storm water management, sewage systems, and water distribution networks.

    Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring integration with other civil engineering disciplines and compliance with all regulatory standards.

    Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to assess system performance under various conditions and identify optimal design solutions.

    Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for wet utility and drainage components.

    Manage projects from conceptual design through construction, including supervising on-site activities, to ensure compliance with design specifications.

    Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and ensure projects meet all environmental and safety standards.

    Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on best practices in wet utility and drainage engineering.

    Stay abreast of emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the field of water resources engineering, applying innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.

    A minimum of 10 years of experience in wet utility and drainage engineering, with a proven track record of successful project management and design execution.

    Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM).

    Familiarity with GIS software and applications in water resources management.

    Excellent understanding of local, state, and national regulations related to water resources, storm water management, and environmental protection.

    Demonstrated the ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams.

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
