- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies in documentation or coding.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct audits of coding practices to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
