Purple Iris Communications LLP, a B2B content writing agency, is looking for a senior writer to join our team in India. The writer will be producing and managing thought leadership content for the agency's technology clients.

The ideal candidate is proficient in writing and editing analytical articles, technical case studies, reports and white papers. She/he must be experienced in conducting interviews of technical subject matter experts and business leaders. The writer must have a good grasp of business trends and digital technologies such as AI, data analytics and cloud computing.

Job responsibilities:

• Write and re-write articles and blog posts for our clients' senior executives
• Produce case studies, white papers, reports and POVs
• Collaborate with business unit heads and clients' content teams to create editorial calendars
• Edit and proof-read copy before it gets published

Ideal skills:

• Journalistic skills including storytelling, interviewing stakeholders, conducting online research and an ability to connect the dots to bring out a strong message
• Good at picking and developing story ideas with minimal handholding
• Think creatively to produce engaging copy and smart headlines
• Being proactive and taking the lead in projects
• Meticulous worker who pays attention to detail
• Multi-tasker who can manage several projects at a time

Background:

Preference for business or technology journalists with experience in writing features or someone who has worked as an in-house content writer in a technology company

Education:

Bachelor's degree in any specialisation
