Role Overview
As a Global VAT Registrations Specialist at VAT IT Compliance, you will be an integral part of aspecialized team focused on providing seamless VAT registration services for a wide-ranging clientbase, including small businesses, mid-sized enterprises, and multinational corporations. TheRegistrations team plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient registration processes, compliancewith global VAT regulations, and client satisfaction through strong, transparent communicationand proactive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
VAT Registration Management
Oversee end-to-end VAT registration processes for a global client base, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Tax Associates) to understand and meet client-specific registration needs.
Manage tasks and timelines of submissions, pack preparation and obtaining information from the Account Manager.
Maintain and manage country knowledge and guides of every MSR including overviews of countries.
Responsible for CS being populated, R&D , follow up with the tax offices and activating accounts.
Work closely with Account Manager and hold each other accountable for activating timeously. Documentation and Compliance.
Documentation and compliance
Submit international VAT registration applications with thorough attention to detail.
Maintain accurate records of all VAT registration processes, client communications, and supporting documentation.
Engage with VAT authorities globally, facilitating efficient communication to resolve issues and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Process Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
Support the Registrations Manager with ad-hoc tasks aimed at optimizing registration processes and increasing operational efficiency.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline registration workflows and enhance the client experience.
What We're Looking For
Educational Background: Graduate/ Postgraduate with Finance background.
Experience: 2 to 3 Years
Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Client Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain effective client relationships and deliver high satisfaction.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in managing documentation and record-keeping.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple registrations and tasks concurrently, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outputs.
VAT Knowledge: Prior experience with VAT registration processes is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
