- Designing and engineering of highways, roads and streets
- Preparation of bill of quantities and estimation
- Establish and develop drawings and to establish 3D models
- Work closely with peers, line manager and other discipline engineers to ensure delivery that will meet utility standards, industry standards and meet good engineering practices, policies and procedures
- Establish and develop presentations to clients and internal audiences including technical teams and management committees
- A qualified degree in civil engineering from a reputable college in Transportation Engineering or similar
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design of highways, roads and streets
- Experience of working on international projects
- Prior experience working with International Codes, European standards and best practices.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D
- A good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office
- Knowledge of Trimble/Novapoint and/or Bentley MicroStation
- Experience of working with projects in the Nordics
- Experience of working on projects associated with the Swedish Transport Administration

About the AFRY Infrastructure Division
Out of AFRY's Infrastructure Divisions 6,500 employees approximately 100 engineers are working with Road and Highway Engineering. The Infrastructure Division provides engineering services in infrastructure projects such as, road/highways, high speed railway, bridges, water and wastewater utilities & treatments, tunnels and underground works. The Road and Highway Engineering team provides services in geometric design, detailed design, pavement engineering, earthwork, technical specifications, quantity calculations and bill of quantities. We work in all stages of the planning and building process from feasibility studies to detailed design and as built documentation.
