    Software Test Engineer - Manual Testing

    We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in functional and non-functional testing, meticulous test case design, thorough test execution, and effective defect tracking. Experience with web applications is essential, with additional preference for mobile application testing, and proficiency in SQL and database testing is a must.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manual testing expertise will be applied to perform comprehensive functional and non-functional testing of software applications.
    • Test case design skills are essential for creating robust and effective test cases, utilizing various design techniques.
    • Test execution abilities are crucial for meticulously executing test cases and documenting results.
    • Defect tracking proficiency is required to identify, log, and manage software defects, using tools like Bugzilla or JIRA.
    • Bug reporting skills are vital for filing detailed bug reports, including analysis and root cause identification.
    • SQL and database testing knowledge will be utilized to verify data integrity and functionality at the database level.
    • Documentation skills are important for preparing clear and well-explained documents regarding application functionality.
    • Communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for effective team collaboration and reporting.

    Technical Skill Requirements

    • Strong experience in web applications is mandatory.
    • Strong experience in functional & non-functional testing is required.
    • Strong experience in test case design and test execution is essential.
    • Strong experience in defect tracking is a must.
    • Strong experience in test case design techniques is required.
    • Knowledge of SQL & database testing is mandatory.
    • Experience in using Bugzilla/JIRA tools is essential.
    • Experience in API testing is required.


    General Requirements

    • Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
    • Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days.

    Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of automation testing (Selenium) is an added advantage.
