Senior Technical Oracle/JDE Consultant - Surat - Zorba Consulting

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Solution Design & Architecture :

• Lead the technical design of comprehensive JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions.
• Develop detailed technical design documents (TDDs), including specifications for customizations, reports, interfaces, and data conversions (RICEW/CRIC objects).
• Conduct technical gap analysis, proposing efficient and scalable JDE technical solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on JDE technical architecture, performance tuning, and best practices.

JDE Development & Customization :

Develop and customize JDE objects (e.g., Applications, UBEs, Business Functions (C/NER), Table Conversions, Orchestrations, Business Services (BSSV)) using the JDE E1 Tools Set.

Implement and manage complex JDE integrations using JDE Orchestrator, BSSV, REST APIs, SOAP, Logic Extensions, and EDI methods.

Design and develop advanced reports using BI Publisher and One View Reporting.

Hands-on experience with User Defined Objects (UDOs) like Form Extensions, Grid Formats, and Form Personalizations for enhanced user experience and productivity.

Technical Support & Optimization :

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and debugging for complex JDE technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning of JDE applications, UBEs, and database interactions.
• Oversee or execute data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest JDE releases, tools, and technical trends (e.g., new Orchestrator features, cloud integrations).

Project Leadership & Mentorship :

• Lead technical project deliverables, ensuring adherence to coding standards, quality, and project timelines.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, testers, and project managers.
• Contribute to effort estimations for technical developments and align with overall project plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E9.1 or higher) in implementation, upgrade, development, and/or support roles.

Deep JDE Technical Proficiency :

- Mastery of JDE E1 Tools Set (Object Management Workbench (OMW), Form Design Aid (FDA), Report Design Aid (RDA), Business Function Design Aid (BSFN/NER), Data Dictionary, Table Conversions, Workflow Modeler).

- Strong proficiency in JDE Orchestrator, Business Services (BSSV), and other integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, EDI, XML).

- Expertise in C/C++ for JDE Business Function development (NER and C).

- Proficient in developing with SQL (Oracle Database specific experience preferred), understanding JDE database structures, and writing optimized queries.
