You will be working as Quality Specialist at global grade 16 and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Supply Quality Manager and will be responsible for supporting the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations.

Your responsibilities

• Co-ordinating with various functions like production, stores, design, purchase, SCM etc
• Planning and handling the day-to-day workload
• Analyzing and solving problems and performing "Root cause analysis" and resolving concerns
• Clearance of goods receipt in system and other related activities in system
• Ensuring proper use of testing equipment and timely validation of testing equipment with respect to calibration
• Handling of line quality issues or line rejections

Your background

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in relevant field
• Experience of material inspection or testing and should have the knowhow of the testing equipment
• Must be able to understand drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and material specifications
• Should be conversant with relevant national and international standards, IEC Standards
• Basic knowledge of machined parts, fabrication, castings, material properties, CT's, PT's, relays, meters, coil, ammeter, voltmeter is preferable
