Job Description :

We are currently seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks. As a QA Automation Engineer at Xotiv Technologies, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-leading tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit) to validate software functionality and performance
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency, reliability, and test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the codebase
• Work closely with manual testers to coordinate testing efforts and ensure comprehensive test coverage across all platforms and devices
• Monitor test environments and collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure availability and stability of test infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in automation testing and incorporate them into our testing processes

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong foundation in test automation principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols
• Familiarity with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as Sauce Labs or BrowserStack
