    Description

    About the Role:

    • Oversee and manage end-to-end item processing operations, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and US banking standards.
    • Understanding of an end-to-end flow of the ACH process including originations, exceptions and returns, adjustments, and unauthorized ACH transactions
    • Responsible for ACH Investigations including but not limited to request for record of authorization, ACH Return Monitoring, LOIs, and Trace Requests.
    • Daily Reconciliation of Payment Activity
    • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track the team's performance and identify improvement areas.
    • Track SLAs, assist with MIS and dashboard creation, and Analytics strategy
    • Support senior management in streamlining transaction processing workflows and enhancing efficiency through process improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor implemented automation strategies to eliminate manual processes or improve service quality and ensure they are successfully executed
    • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating with cross-functional teams to address issues and optimize processes.
    • Focus on risk mitigation for both the business and the customer with a strong focus on fraud controls and fraud detection.
    • Prepare and present reports on payment processing performance, trends, and issues to the stakeholders

    Requirements for the role :

    • A deep understanding of ACH payment flow and regulations, proficient in US payment rails with an added advantage in check processing knowledge.
    • Proficient with data analysis skills with SQL knowledge.
    • Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in business, economics, finance, or other related disciplines
    • 5+ years of experience working in the financial services/banking industry.
    • Previous team-leading experience is preferred.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage a team and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with various stakeholders, including presenting findings and recommendations.
