Description

The life valuation senior analyst would be responsible for conducting month-end/quarter end/year end valuation activities for the life and health lines of business. The candidate is required to exercise actuarial expertise in ensuring that the Company's actuarial reporting activities are conducted within the time span and are adhered with the regulatory/internal guidelines. The candidate would need to have a good sense of products, regulations within the market. The candidate would also need to improve the efficiency and the automate certain areas of the valuation/production cycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Has a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline

• Preferably with at least 3+ years' experience in actuarial valuation and reporting for life insurance products

• Preferably with atleast 3 actuarial exams from Institute of Actuaries of UK or Indian Actuarial Institute.

• Preferably experience with atleast one life actuarial valuation tool (AXIS / PolySystem / Triton etc.)

• Collaborative and able to manage expectations, schedules, and deadlines, even with changing demands, from different stakeholders

• Has strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail

• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications

• Has excellent written & verbal communication skills

• Willing to learn and is internally driven to perform
