    KeyResponsibilities

    • Conduct thoroughmedical examinations and assessments to diagnose conditions anddetermine appropriate treatment plans.
    • Developand implement customized rehabilitation programs to addresspatients specific physical limitations anddisabilities.
    • Provide continuous medical caremonitoring and evaluation to track the progress of patientsrehabilitation.
    • Collaborate withinterdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapistsoccupational therapists and other specialists to coordinatecomprehensive patient care.
    • Prescribe andadminister medical treatments medications and therapeuticinterventions as needed.
    • Document patientsmedical histories progress notes and treatment plans accurately andtimely.
    • Participate in ongoing research andclinical trials to contribute to advancements in physical medicineand rehabilitation.
    • Stay current with medicaladvancements best practices and industry regulations related tophysical medicine and rehabilitation.
    • Provideeducation and guidance to patients and their families about theirconditions treatment options and selfcaretechniques.
    • Adhere to ethical and legalstandards in medical practice maintaining patient confidentialityand informed consent.
    • Contribute to theadministrative tasks of medical records management reporting andquality improvement initiatives.
    • Participate inprofessional development activities and continuous medicaleducation to enhance knowledge andskills.

    RequiredQualifications

    • Medical degree (MBBS)and valid state licensure to practicemedicine.
    • Completion of residency training inphysical medicine and rehabilitation(DPMR).
    • Board certification in physicalmedicine and rehabilitation.
    • Proven experiencein diagnosing and treating a wide range of physical andneurological conditions.
    • Demonstrated expertisein developing and executing individualized rehabilitationplans.
    • Strong understanding of musculoskeletaland neurological anatomy andphysiology.
    • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and teamcollaboration.
    • Attention to detail and accuracyin medical documentation and reporting.
    • Abilityto prioritize and manage time effectively in a fastpaced medicalsetting.
    • Commitment to delivering empatheticand patientcentered care.
    • Knowledge of clinicalresearch methodologies and evidencebased practice in rehabilitationmedicine.
    • Familiarity with electronic healthrecords (EHR) systems and medical recordmanagement.
