    Nature of role:
    Full time

    Number of years of experience expected: 1-5 Years

    Educational qualification expected:
    Graduate or Postgraduate.

    Additional qualifications/ certifications required:
    Python coding

    Preferred geography of previous work experience: No specific requirement

    Language requirements:
    Ability to write and speak fluently in English

    Application experience:
    Library experience with Pandas, Polars, Flask, Django, Numpy, DevOps tool like Github, Azure DevOps

    Application experience good to have:
    VsCode

    Acies is seeking a talented Python Developer to join our Technology team.

    As part of the Technology Team, the professional will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining various software products.

    The responsibilities will include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services.


    The key responsibility areas include:

    • Develop and maintain backend components of web applications using Python/Django, Flask, or Django Fast API.
    • Actively engaging in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and addressing feedback received from peers, to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
    • Troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing timely resolutions.
    • Extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Python and SQL
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver highquality software.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and welldocumented code using best practices and coding standards.
    • Debug and resolve issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize application performance.
    • Categorizing, cleansing and normalizing of datasets via optimal data pipelines that generate exception reports, data summary etc.
    • Performing data transformations on datasets using Python as coding technology
    • Expert in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code on Python
    • Strong unit test and debugging skills
    • Creation of database schemas that represent and support business processes
    • Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions
    • Understanding and agreeing on project scopes, deliverables, endusers, objectives and outcomes,
    • Maintaining and tracking detailed project plans and progress

    Personal interviews:
    There are expected to be at least 2 -3 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
