    Description

    Job Title: NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL Developer

    Location: Kottivakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

    Working Schedule: 5 days (1pm-10 pm)

    The primary responsibility of the NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL Developer is to perform configuration and development activities for our Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL system.

    This includes analyzing and contributing to functional specifications provided by business users and producing technical specifications in line with agreed standards.

    The focus will be on Dynamics NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL development, with additional activities using SQL and .NET, and creating integrations to Dynamics NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL.

    The NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL Developer will be involved at each stage of the software development lifecycle, from assessing feasibility to documentation, development, testing, and delivery.

    The role involves importing and exporting data from NAV/Business Central to several other applications and streamlining systems processes and performance.

    Requirements:

    • 5 or more years of experience as a software developer specifically working with NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL C/SIDE C/AL development language.
    • Role Tailored Client (RTC) development experience, including page and report development in Visual Studio.
    • Experience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with MS NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL.
    • Prior NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL upgrade and data migration experiences are highly desirable.

    Key Skills:

    • Ability to document code customizations and integrations in compliance with established standards and practices.
    • Ability to translate customer business requirements and specifications into code.
    • Solutions along with the ability to develop and manage hours estimates.
    • Ability to debug errors efficiently and effectively.
    • Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
