Field Coordinator - Titilagarh, India - Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF)

Description

• The field coordinator will be responsible for overall project activities in both blocks coordinating with all ICRAF activities related to this project.

• Selection of project implementation site and farmer's field to grow organic cotton in an agroforestry system.

• Assistance in input procurements (organic fertilizer, organic seed, plants, pesticides, biological agents.

• Assistance in the planting of (MPT) Multi-purpose Trees and fruit Tree in farmers' fields with organic cotton crop sowing.

• Assistance in sowing vegetables as intercrop with Organic cotton.

• Data collection on economic and social aspects related to the cotton agroforestry system.

• Any other assignment given by the Country Director, India CIFOR-ICRAF, and the project manager as per need.
