    About the Opportunity:

    We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who specializes in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance our cloud infrastructure and streamline our development processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Terraform, and managing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
    • Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD tools into the software development lifecycle.
    • Utilize Jenkins for building, testing, and deploying applications in GCP environments.
    • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for provisioning and managing resources in GCP.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
    • Implement security best practices and compliance standards in GCP environments.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps practices.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 4+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
    • Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with hands-on experience in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.
    • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience implementing pipelines using Jenkins.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform.
    • Experience managing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments in cloud platforms.
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and issue resolution.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar, are a plus.
