- CFD Analysis:Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques to analyze and optimize the airflow and cooling systems within motors, maximizing thermal efficiency and performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, design engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical and electrical systems seamlessly within motor designs.
- Documentation and Reporting : Generate comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports, to ensure clear communication and documentation of design decisions and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in the field of motor design, with a strong focus on mechanical engineering aspects.
- Thorough knowledge of various types of motors, their construction, and principles of operation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and design.
- Experience with structural simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) and CFD analysis tools (e.g., Fluent, COMSOL) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and heat transfer principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs that meet performance and reliability requirements.
