What we are looking for We are looking to hire a Lead or a Senior Lead Engineer, DevOps role with 8+ years of industry experience. You will be a part of a fast-growing product team that designs, develops, and enhances product features, performs unit testing, and consistently achieves desired code quality. The ideal candidate should be well acquainted with DevOps processes and practices with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must have the instinct to take the initiative, be a team player, and be versatile in their abilities.
What you'll be doing

Serve as a critical leader and expert on DevOps practices.

Able to manage AWS Cloud Infrastructure.

Implement and support Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines.

Schedule, implement, and automate security compliance patching and updates on Development and QA servers.

Ensure continuous availability of various tools supporting SCM & Release Management, including Source Control, Continuous Integration, & Change Management.

Engage with cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise features to enable higher developer productivity, environment monitoring, and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams.

Responsible for deploying code and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and running

Production Release Implementation plan and Install Support.

Integrating Code Quality tools and Code Analysis tools into IDE's

Implementing Automation to improve coding efficiency

Setup and finetune infrastructure to scale with volumes and load

Work with Clustered container environments to optimize distribution

Skills you need in order to succeed in this role.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar

Must have 8+ years experience as Senior/Lead DevOps, Build and Release Management, and Software Configuration Management and Automation.

Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Java/Shell/Perl/Powershell for monitoring and Automation.

Familiarity with Java/NodeJS (any one of them should be ideal).

Must know about Amazon Web services (AWS) Cloud Administration, which includes EC2, VPC, Auto Scaling, S3, ECS, ECR.

Hands-on experience with Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Having experience in server configuration, installation, and modification of Ansible templates.

Implementing DevOps practices and streamlining the build and release process.

Must take the initiative to implement new technologies and troubleshoot in the set time frame.

Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools

Experience in working on the product side of the business.

Strong analytical skills and a high aptitude for learning and adapting to new processes

Working experience in Agile project methodologies using feature branches in a continuous deployment environment would be an added advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
