Job description
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Course Counsellor to guide prospective students through the process of selecting and enrolling in our courses. The role involves counselling students, handling queries, and ensuring a smooth admission journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students (via calls, emails, and in-person/online meetings) about available courses, career prospects, and learning paths.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Assist students through the application, enrollment, and payment process.
- Maintain records of leads, enquiries, and conversions using CRM/Excel/Google Sheets.
- Follow up with prospective students to achieve enrollment targets.
- Coordinate with faculty, operations, and support teams to resolve student concerns.
- Stay updated on course details, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred in Education, Business, Psychology, or related field).
- 1–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, or student support (education industry preferred).
- Strong communication (English + regional language if needed) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to listen actively and understand student needs.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve and exceed enrollment targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Patience, empathy, and a student-first approach.
