Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical writer to join our team. As a technical writer at Pine Labs, you will work on creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for our products. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.
Responsibilities we entrust you with
Work independently and develop comprehensive and precise technical documentation, including solution articles, user guides, online help content, etc.
Collaborate with engineers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand new features, product updates, and technical specifications.
Simplify complex technical information into easy-to-understand language suitable for technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure consistency in style, tone, and terminology throughout the documentation.
Participate in product and design meetings to share inputs on user experience and usability of the product.
Collaborate with the marketing and training teams to create customer-facing materials, such as training/how-to videos and user guides.
Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, structure, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
Plans and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously. Organize information effectively and structure documents to provide better usability and accessibility.
Coach and guide team members in Agile frameworks to drive results/performance
What matters in this role?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a Fintech company or similar technology.
Strong knowledge of technical writing best practices, standards, and guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Comfortable seeking information from subject matter experts and capable of adapting to changing project requirements & ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
