    Overview:

    TheMerchandiser Head of Department plays a crucial role within theorganization by leading and overseeing the merchandising activitiesensuring effective inventory management and driving sales throughimpactful product presentation. This role involves strategicdecisionmaking team leadership and close collaboration with variousdepartments to maximize product visibility optimize stock levelsand deliver an exceptional customerexperience.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Develop andimplement merchandising strategies to drive sales and meet companyobjectives
    • Manage the departments budgetforecasting and inventory control
    • Lead mentorand motivate the merchandising team to achieve targets and deliverhighquality displays and productplacement
    • Analyze sales and market trends tooptimize product assortment andpricing
    • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiatefavorable terms pricing and promotions
    • Ensureeffective visual merchandising to enhance the overall customerexperience
    • Monitor competitors and marketdynamics to identify opportunities andthreats

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inBusiness Marketing or related field
    • Provenexperience in merchandising preferably in a leadershiprole
    • Demonstrated success in inventorymanagement and stock control
    • Strong analyticaland problemsolving skills
    • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonalabilities
    • Proven negotiation skills withsuppliers and vendors
    • Uptodate awareness ofmarket trends and consumer behavior
    • Proficiencyin relevant merchandising software andtools
